A Movable Feast!
I bought a copy of this as a gift from one of my bridesmaids, who is also getting married this summer. I went to the bookstore for a different aphrodisiac cookbook, but I spotted the cover of this one, and after flipping through it, was compelled to buy it. I'm going to get a copy of this for me and my new hubby. We both love to cook for each other, and just talking about the foods in the book were enough to excite us. It's a beautiful visual feast. The photography is gorgeous and is a lovely compliment to the recipes and sweet stories from people who have used them. There are foods you would expect, like chocolate, honey, strawberries and oysters, and lots of things you might never think of, like artichokes, asparagus, black beans, and pine nuts. There are even massage oil recipes, and other interesting extras. We've tried a few of the simpler ones, like the Mexican hot Chocolate, and they were great. I'm really looking forward to trying some of the more complicated items (three words: black russian cake). It was definately worth what we spent as a gift, and it's definately worth buying a second time. I highly recommend it.

Not for Dablers!!
This book gives great information on how to and follow through. However, it is NOT for Dabblers! This information is only to be undertaken in the most protected magickal environments! Since you are calling up the children of Lilith, you are calling up Demons, dont cha know. Demons are base/lower beings and are volitile. These are not the demons of the Necronomicon who are some of the more civilized and honest and easy to work with in my personal experiences. Therefore, entering into sex with them gives them an invite, by you, into your deepest part, your soul. And upon doing this, the demon can begin to posess you. Either slowly and gradually over time, or in a deeply profound and shocking way as in Chaos Magik undertaken by those who are in mentally fragile or ungrounded states of mind. Bottom line...use caution, this is not a Milton & Bradley game. If your not a dabbler, and you've done the required protections, preferrably with help in the set up of these protections....have fun with your new lover!

Amazing!
Holy gawd, a male who loved this book! And I did. It's sad how most people can only see the sophomoric caricatures their biases craft in this book, rather than the real story: which is not hatred for males, nor an indictment of all heterosexuality as rape. Though it will be read that way if a person can *only* concieve of sex which contains an element of domination: take away the domination aspect, and for them, sex is abolished. The men and women (such as the odious Camille Paglia) who fear this book have minds too entrenched in patriarchal pseudoscientific essentialist nonsense to get over that. As for me, I love sex. I think it's beautiful -- and that's also why I love this book. It suggests to me that intercourse can retain that beauty, and that it doesn't have to be debased by being used as a weapon and a tool of oppression. Dworkin is a brilliant mind whose works have altered my life.

REAL info without the flimsy "fluff" I've found in others
I found MUCH BETTER, MUCH MORE SPECIFIC, MUCH MORE CLINICAL help in this book!I LOVE it! It makes a lot of sense, and really helps to clarify a lot of the "fuzziness" we women have about our bodies and how we can enjoy maximum results. It's written in "laywomen's" terms, and the author does not pretend to be something she is not. I didn't feel disappointed or "flim-flammed" with this book as I did with others that don't get specific and instead just say, "masturbate, marsturbate, masterbate." This book goes well beyond that step.

Too difficult to understand or accomplish.
While the book is filled with wonderful promises, the technique is too hard to understand. Very frustrating.

Excellent Surprise
Bought this book along with Dreambody Toolkit and put off reading it because I found the first to be a little dry(see my comments). To my surprise, this book was all that the first one wasn't. The author's personality is fully present in this book, and there are lots of anecdotes of processwork in action. (You don't really need a background in processwork or much psychology to enjoy this book) I thought from the title that it would focus specifically on relationship work, but it really is a great cross-section of processwork applied. Less metaphysical musing than in Arnold Mindell's books, and in many ways a better read because of this. Simply a therapist at work using my favorite psychological approach. Enjoy...

Moving and close to home
A very intimate book about a gay man living with AIDS. I found it realistic and close to home in a way much gay fiction is not. And a certain unresolvedness made it all the more realistic.

A new way of looking at sex
This book puts forth the bold idea that couples do not need to have intercourse to have sex, and then discusses how to have great sex without intercourse. The only downside to the book is that it's a little repetitive. It also is a good book for unmarried teens and young adults to read, because it shows them how to have positive sexual experiences without the risk of pregnancy or sexulally transmitted diseases.
