Ladies! A Valentines Gift that's Perfect for you BOTH!
I would like to say that Jack's program is written for both men and women as it has to do with arousal, not gender. I have practiced the Keysound and have noticed tremendous effects in my own intensity of Bliss. This program uses techniques for men without ejaculation control of any form. Everything else I have seen on Amazon.com, has been about Ejaculation control, which I believe reduces the openness of the intensity. Jack's discovery makes ejaculation control obsolete!

The Illustrated Guide to Extended Massive Orgasm
This is a fantastic book. This book covers a wide range of topics thoroughly and sensitively. The illustrations are beautifully drawn. There aren't as many illustrations as I would have thought given the title; however, the descriptions are easy to understand and follow. I would recommed this book to anyone who wants to really get to know and understand their partner sexually and share mutually fulfilling sexual experiences. This is one of the most complete and informative books on sexual fulfillment that I have ever read by giving equal weight to female and male pleasure.

SOME GREAT TIPS
My husband and I found this book easy to read, packed with interesting information, and quite helpful. After five years of frustration, I was finally able to orgasm with my husband, and I think it helped that we both read the book. We knew what to try and what to expect, and the book helped us talk more openly about our sexuality. I would recommend the book to any woman or couple who might have concerns about orgasms (or the absence of them). I also appreciate the fact that the authors included information for aging women and women with physical disabilities. This was very thoughtful of them.

a manual in technique. good for everyone.
Other reviews for this title seem to be written by anonymous men and fueled by sour grapes. No book will make you a great lover, especially if you're not interested in what it asks you to do.

No, their partners do not cause all of the sexual problems in women, but some can be solved'regardless. This book isn't about pointing fingers in blame. It's about giving pleasure...that's all.

This book is a GREAT guide for oral sex, and really only touches lightly on anything else (to avoid redundancy, according to the authors. To paraphrase, "many great books have been written on technique in intercourse'" etc). The authors were very specific in the problems pleasing most women, orally and otherwise. It addresses that all women are different, there's nothing that will work on everyone, and tips on how to find out what your female partner enjoys.

Even men (and women) that *think* they know how to satisfy a woman would learn something from this sensitive, well-written book. It's full of sexy secrets that will bring something new to bed...or improve old acts.

WARNING!!! THIS BOOK IS ALL ABOUT PLEASING WOMEN, mostly orally. If you're expecting anything but a book telling you how to UNSELFISHLY please a woman... look elsewhere. I think the title covers that, but some people just don't seem to understand.

This is a technical guide on how to cause the female orgasm.

Almost every page has artful, but very helpful, illustrations. I also like the *very* open ideas this book supports exploring (anal stimulation, for example).

The book is written for men, to use on women, it translates well for women to use on other women, too. The sections discussing penetration with the penis could easily be done with the hands, or device. The oral and hand stimulation sections need no translation.

My only true complaint about this book is size. It's a very large book. It's a pretty quick read, and easy to understand, but it won't fit on my bookshelf. It's more of a coffee-table book. What a thrill to your guests if *this* was in your living room.

In summary: this book could have been called "get her off: a diagrammed tutorial on how to use your mouth, hands, and body to make a woman orgasm" but it you'll have to lay it horizontally in your book case.

This book is only as good as your desire to be successful.
The entire book is put together so you can take the whole concept and break it down into smaller, more palatable sections of info. This makes it easy to have small attainable goals that lead up to the big one! :) All the other men that I know who have read the book and deemed it worthless have done so in a few short weeks. No results can be achieved until you do the exercises as recommended, IN THE ORDER recommended. I fell off the horse at first, but once I resumed my exercises at the pace recommended, my girlfriend started wondering if I was practicing with someone else. :)

An eye-opener
This book is living proof that we Americans are not the cultural barbarians we're always made out to be. Let's hear it for Tony Ward, who knows how to teach those stuffy European fuddy-duddies a lesson or two about real culture!

good book
It seems that most of the sexual guides out there are geared to giving the man pleasure. In my experience that has never been a problem. The guides that are geared toward woman are usually filled with stories about muti orgasmic woman sharing their adventures. If you are a woman who really wants some clear cut advice that really works given in a friendly chatty kind of format this book is for you. It is written by a woman who had the frustation of regular unsatisfying sex herself and tells how she learned to overcome this. It was not written by some clinical doctor. The program teaches you how to be in control of your own orgasm in bed not be dependent on the abilities of your partner to have one. It's empowering. I definately recommend this book.

GREAT INFORMATION IN THIS BOOK
I read this book out of curiousity and I'm glad I did. We all know that sex releases stress, menstral cramps, headaches and helps with insomia. This hands-on guide describes how to give and receive remarkable orgasms, taking the experience of sex to a new level of enjoyment. The book focuses primarily on women but it does address the needs of men as well, they cover anatomy in detail, address inhibitions and fears, suggest useful exercises, recommend the best positions, and most of all offer insightful advice for every technique covered. The author's focus on how and where to touch a partner to produce the most pleasure. No matter how long a couple has been together, it's never too late, or too early , to greatly enhance sexual response. I enjoyed this book.

good, but not great
This entry is a good, solid written, book. The authors are sure of their program, and it should give you results, if followed correctly. But there is a problem with this book. It is written too seriously. It is filled with references made to other great works of seuxal discussions. It is a clinical approach to a personal problem. I liked it, but it was far from being tongue-in-cheek, or written with an eye for humor. It is both very serious, and very straight forward in its' aproach. That is my only complaint with the book. I think the guide to getting it on was written far better, covered the subject better, and did it with full humor and a touch of magic. It was a far more interesting, fun-filled, and informative read than this book was. It is worth the money, but no where near the amounts of fun. Where does it say that great satisfying sex has to be serious?

Buy Paget's other books instead
I'm a huge fan of Lou Paget's other books: How to Give Her Absolute Pleasure and How to be a Great Lover (my girlfriend and I have the books and the tapes). This is what led us to buy the Big O, but we were disopointed. It's pretty much a rush job that seems to be a repeat of her last two books. Most of the same information is repeated, but phrased differently. It also dosen't cater to male orgasmims much at all. It's more of a guide for women in doing their part to help their man orgasim as opposed to helping men cultivate their own. Paget has a lot to teach and she has helped our sex life a lot, but this book wasn't all it was cracked up to be. If you've read her last two books and want to learn more, perhaps another writer with a different approach would be refreshing. But make sure you get her other two books first!

X-Spot, a new name for an already-known area.
Someone could have told me these three words and it would have summed up the entire book, or at least made it no different from any other book of sexual nature(I say this because to fill space, the author has included several other things, of very limited usefulness).

The words: "X-Spot is cervix"

The X-Spot is simply a new name for the cervix. Her technique only shows you how to tactically rub it and briefly explains why it feels as it does. Any simple female anatomy book would show you where the cervix is and you could find it on your own, it isn't that difficult.

The book is also only 160 pages, the numbering starting with the very first opening page of 'What are people saying about X-tasy Spot?" In fact, chapter one starts at page 19, including only three tiny sex stories complimenting the book, chapter two her little 'sensuality quiz' and chapter three finally getting into the meat of the subject. Not only do the pages have rather large print, some are even FILLED ENTIRELY with illustrations, and even more are filled with little 'surveys' and journal pages, and the last 15 pages are just rip-outs of what was illustrated in chapter 3 and 4, in fact they are the EXACT SAME THING, not even reworded.

To further criticize this book, its written to be read by a female. This largely contradicts how the book should be formed, seeing as how its a GUIDE to be used ON a female, where this would say 'You(female) read this, then tell your boyfriend about it'. The book in no way happens to mention this little detail which greatly upset me.

X-Spot Orgasm was just a way to intrigue readers, making them think that a new location in pleasure has been found, that is exactly how I was lured in. Its just a CERVIX TECHNIQUE, SOMETHING I KNEW ABOUT BEFORE THIS. I will admit it expanded my horizons on the subject, but its a waste of money nonetheless. I express no second thought in giving this book a 1-star, for a deceiving title and a lack of useful information, and page-fillers like "101 things to get your man into bed".

Medically Correct
What I liked best about this book, was it was not pornography in disguise. So many sex "self-help" books boarder on the inapproptiate. But not this one. The language was respectful and diagrams tasteful.

"Becoming Orgasmic" is very professionally written by doctors, with a lot of clinical research, both their own and by others. What I appriciated was that the doctors did not present a quick-fix, one size fits all solution. This book is meant to help a woman heal herself. THe book stayed respectful and lets the woman that she is not alone and that her dyfunction does not make her weird or strange.

This workbook was recommended to me by a doctor and I recommend it to you.

Sexual pleasure information without the right wing slant
In today's America, sexual pleasure that takes any form besides the accepted heterosexual-monogamous/religious model is mercilessly persecuted. I read the review posted on Dec 26th by the person in Sausalito bashing Betty. I got an excited glow in my heart and knew I'd found the right book! I bought it instantly!

While reading it I found myself cheering out loud over and over again, "You go girl, say it like it is!"

After reading this book I can testify that Betty does not consider monogamous heterosexuality to be an "invalid life choice", but rather there are real breakdowns within the model (that never gets any press until now) and there are other sexual lifestyles that are just as valid. She has nothing to be bitter about! She's just got the truth that's hard to take. I saw V-Day in Madison Square Garden and read the book. And if the V-Girls can't handle criticism, then get out da' kitchen!

Orgasms For Two is both socio-sexual commentary and Betty's guide to creating sexual pleasure. And what she taught me has revolutionized the sex with my boyfriend. Before, we were resigned to never having orgasms during intercourse. Not anymore!

Nuff' said! We love you, Betty! Peace! --Claire
